The lives of innocent visitors, teens, women, old, were taken away in a trice by a cruel turn of events in Morbi, Gujarat Sunday night, when a bridge collapsed. Around 135 people, including 47 children, have died in this unforeseeable gruesome tragedy. The suspension bridge was recently repaired by a construction company Oreva Group, but was opened for public without securing the fitness certificate from the government authorities. Those involved in the repair work have been booked by the local police and a high level committee has been formed to investigate the matter further.  The unfortunate visitors were sold tickets to walk on the bridge, but little did they realize that it was a bridge between life and death. The bridge snapped and in a moment all fell into the river. Sanders was known for spiritual jazz music as he drew inspiration from Karma and Tawhid. Sanders was a member of John Coltrane's groups in mid-1960s, in which he played saxophone and used techniques such as overblowing, harmonic, and multiphonic. He has also collaborated with Leon Thomas and Alice Coltrane. He has released over 30 albums as a leader.    Sanders, originally known as Farrell Sanders, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 13, 1940. He began sis professional career as a tenor saxophone player in Oakland and later moved to New York City. One of the India's greatest comic and mimicry artists, Raju Srivastava (originally, Satya Prakash Srivastava), finally gave up the battle for life on September 21 after being on ventilator for 41 days in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He was rushed to the hospital on August 10 after he suffered a massive heart attack while working out in a gym. The whole nation is mourning his death as he had touched the hearts of every Indian through his comedy, laughter and positivity. As per the reports, his body will be cremated in New Delhi. Recently, Iranian women protested against wearing Hijab in Iran. They removed the black dress in public. Angry protesters brought down the national flag. The trouble began after the death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian woman who was arrested by the morality police.   The angry women removed their mandatory headscarves in the capital city, Tehran. The protesters included not only women but also men, who chanted slogans against the Shia Islamist government of Iran headed by Ali Khamenei. Queen Elizabeth II, who was put under medical supervision due to the growing health concerns, has sadly passed away at 96 in her Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where she had gone for her summer break. India has been shocked by the untimely and accidental death of one of the billionaires, Cyrus Mistry. He was not just a business tycoon, but a business tycoon belonging to TATA group of companies. Once, he held the position of the chairman of Tata Group from 2012 to 2016.  His net worth was close to US $29 billion at the time of his death, while he owned 18.4% stake in Tata Sons.
