The lives of innocent visitors, teens, women, old, were taken away in a trice by a cruel turn of events in Morbi, Gujarat Sunday night, when a bridge collapsed. Around 135 people, including 47 children, have died in this unforeseeable gruesome tragedy. The suspension bridge was recently repaired by a construction company Oreva Group, but was opened for public without securing the fitness certificate from the government authorities. Those involved in the repair work have been booked by the local police and a high level committee has been formed to investigate the matter further. The unfortunate visitors were sold tickets to walk on the bridge, but little did they realize that it was a bridge between life and death. The bridge snapped and in a moment all fell into the river.
