Noida's twin towers, taller than Qutub Minar, demolished in 10 seconds The famous Supertech twin towers of Noida were brought down to ground in no time using over 3,700kg explosives. The Supreme Court of India, considering these constructions in violation of norms, ordered the demolition. The twin towers were demolished within 10 seconds by Edifice Engineering's team, with the help of South Africa's Jet Demolitions. Demolition did not cause any damage to other parts of the Supertech Emerald Court Society in which the towers were located. Supertech Ltd has incurred a loss of about Rs 500 crore, as per its Chairman. The loss includes cost of land and construction, fees paid to authorities, bank's interest and 12% interest paid back to the buyers.
