Hurricane Ian, which hit US on Wednesday, is one of the most dangerous storms in years flooding the Florida coast and leaving millions of houses and businesses stranded without power supply.
Residents were asked to leave their houses and warned that strong winds and heavy rains to last last throughout the night. However, the citizens decided to find shelter indoor.
Due to heavy flooding, the streets appear to have turned into rivers. A curfew has been declared until situation normalizes. The local authorities are describing the event as the biggest flood that south-west Florida has ever witnessed.
The rescue team is ready to lead the operation in flooded areas.
