With increasing
crime rate, Canada is slowly becoming a breeding ground for terrorist groups,
gangs and local criminals. India released a long list of individuals, suspected
to have links with gangs operating out of Canada, and also offered a dossier. However,
Canada ignored all of these without any action as the country was busy maligning
India’s global reputation.
Canada has openly
supported Khalistan movement by showing its support to separatists (or rather terrorists)
who want to break India into pieces. PM Trudeau kept saying he has credible reasons
to believe that India was behind Nijjar’s murder, but produced no evidence.
Now, the Canadian citizens are alleging that their country is getting the taste
of its own medicine. They are blaming the country for not taking actions
against these gangs, criminals, and terrorists.
Canada’s
security agencies and intelligence department are all working on reactive mode,
rather they should act proactively to stop criminals from entering the country.
Unfortunately, the criminals and terrorists are finding ways to enter Canada
with the help of existing criminal and terrorist groups without much of
trouble. They use all kinds of tricks to convince the authorities and succeed
in finding asylum in the country – and then planning and executing various acts
of crime.
There are numerous
incidents including shooting a businessman at Brampton’s The Millennium Tire
Center, death of two citizens in a triple shooting in Caledon, gunshots at Punjabi
singers Gippy Gerewal’s and Karan Aujla’s houses, and the list can go on. Who
is safe in this country? Canadians are already worried and feel quite vulnerable
in their home country.
These gangs
and criminals, encouraged by the weak security system in Canada, are now
getting more aggressive in executing crimes against all classes of citizens. Common
citizens are being raped and murdered while business class is being ripped off
their wealth by means of extortion. Shootouts, extortion, and firing have
become common news in the country while the citizens, especially Indo-Canadian,
live in constant fear. Although, the situation continues to worsen, political
leaders and police department do not seem to take strong actions against these
criminal groups.
While
Canada can continue to support Khalistani Separatists who are demanding India
for a separate Sikh state, but the country must remind itself of one of the
worst terror attacks carried out by the same of group in 1985. Khalistani terrorists
had bombed Air India Flight 182, killing 329 people out of which 268 were Canadians.
If these terrorists are allowed to flourish, the history will repeat itself –
killing more innocent people, irrespective of where they come from.
