Although it sounds embarrassing, but Royal Canadian Mounted Police Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore did appeal to the suspects to turn themselves into police immediately. She later confirmed that Damien has been found dead Monday morning on the James Smith Cree Nation in a heavily grassed area near a house.
While, Myles is still on the run, who, according to Blackmore, has long criminal record involving person and property crimes.
Blackmore, speaking to media said, "we don't have that information [on motives], it appears that some of the victims may have been targeted and some may be random and so to speak of the motive would be extremely difficult at this point in time. Our investigation will certainly focus on that aspect."
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, tweeted, "The attacks in Saskatchewan today are horrific and heartbreaking. I'm thinking of those who have lost a loved one and of those who were injured."
On the other hand, Bobby Cameron, Chief, Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations, blaming drugs for the crime, said, "Our hearts break for all those impacted. This is the destruction we face when harmful illegal drugs invade our communities."
Such violent acts of mass stabbing or mass shooting are unusual in Canada. The whole nation has been shaken by this incident of masacre.
